Backend Developer
Mentmore is currently recruiting for a Backend Developer for our client, a leading organisation who are scaling up their practice. They are looking to bring on board an experienced Backend Developer with extensive experience with .Net framework, C# and Cloud Technologies such as Azure.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with the latest .NET and Web UI technologies within the Scrum framework, whilst supporting significant legacy systems.
- Responsible for design patterns and best coding practices
- .Net framework and C#
- Delivering solutions in a Test-Driven Development environment “Xunit, Nunit”.
- Working with Microservices, WebAPI, WCF
- Setting up and using Source Control tools such as Git or TFS
- Strong experience with SQL Server
- Cloud based application development, deployment, delivery, integration, quality, security, etc. (Azure, AWS)
- Experience with ORM (Dapper, entity framework, nhibernate)
- You will be working closely with a small and high-performance team.
- You will interact with the product owner and architecture teams.
- Exposure to DevOps with pipelines and multiple environments including reliably deploy to production without downtime
- DevOps tools like Octopus, Teamcity, Jenkins
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with good senior-level stakeholder management soft skills and competencies
Required skills:
- Cloud based application development, deployment, delivery, integration, quality, security, etc. (Azure, AWS or other cloud is fine)
- Strong experience of .Net framework and C# and .Net Core
- Good experience / knowledge in cloud technologies (Azure)
- Ability to set-up Source Control tools such as Git or TFS
- Good experience working with Microservices, WebAPI, WCF etc.
- Familiar in DevOps tools like Octopus, Teamcity, Jenkins
- Experience with ORM (Dapper, entity framework, nhibernate)
- Experience of working in Agile, Scrum methodology
- Strong experience with SQL Server and SQL databases
- Frontend knowledge with JavaScript, Typescript, knockoutJs, ReactJs, angular, Vue
