Technical Lead – Integration


Mentmore is currently recruiting for a Technical Lead – Integration for our client, a leading retailer who are undertaking several large-scale transformation projects. They are looking to bring on board an experienced Technical Lead – Integration with a wide range of experience across all areas of IT. In particular they should have strong expertise in SaaS solutions, SQL Databases and Microsoft.

 

  • Primary technical lead for Integrations within a heavily Microsoft orientated environment.
  • The role will be pivotal to the 2021 migration from Dynamics to Salesforce.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Experience with Salesforce, Workday and various third-party SQL databases and SaaS solutions
  • Work close with the Architecture team to define systems integrations, ensuring future technology planning, while providing the business with continued resilient services.
  • Responsible for the Integration best practices and ensuring secure by design to comply with industry standard frameworks and policies.
  • Software integration tools (such as Jitterbit), message-based middleware, APIs and legacy database solutions.
  • Familiar with data strategies, management and GDPR
  • Delivers technical solutions in conjunction with other projects and work with Service Desk team for systems that require specialist internal support resources.
  • Ensure IT systems are fully documented to audit changes and updates and to support business change and operations.
  • Plans, organizes, and manages technical support for relevant technologies within the Integrations Tower.
  • Develop policies and procedures for the effective, efficient, legal and safe use of IT assets.
  • Ensure automation and identification of process or data issues are identities and resolved.
  • Provide monthly/quarterly reports as required to include, but not exhaustive to usage, growth, capacity planning, etc.

 

Required skills:

  • Microsoft cloud technology infrastructure design and support: Azure, Office365 (email, SharePoint, MS Office) and Dynamics
  • Proven experience of Integrations, server and network administration and support, using structured, formal processes and procedures.
  • Proven experience of using Jitterbit or similar tools, e.g., MuleSoft, for both development and monitoring purposes.
  • Experienced use of SQL and ability to transform legacy data feeds
  • Advanced functional knowledge of operating systems, applications and utilities
  • An in depth understanding of the basic principles behind technical support processes and procedures.
