Mentmore is currently recruiting for a Data Architect for our client, a leading charity organisation who are undertaking transformation programmes. They are looking to bring on board an experienced Data Architect with extensive experience of data and information platforms and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Establish the current data and information landscape and evangelises data architecture through modelling, strategy, road mapping and standards; Ensure the future state architecture is aligns to Insights, Technology and Strategy’s goals and objectives.
• Act as an SME by providing direction and assurance across BAU, Programmes and Projects.
• Create data models, structures and management standards in support of information definition retrieval, combination, analysis and interpretation throughout the organisation.
• Create and implementing data management policies and processes, including those related to classification, security, retrieval and retention.
• Engages in architectural governance processes
• Data and information technologies (IT Capabilities) & platforms e.g., SQL (RDB), Snaplogic (iPaaS), Ataccama (MDM/DQM), Alteryx / PowerBI (Data Science/Analytics/Reporting) etc.
• Establishing data standards for key data entities, identifying systems of record, measuring and analysing data quality.
• Ensure that the architecture meets security standards including GDPR and PCI.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with good senior-level stakeholder management soft skills and competencies.

 

Experience required:

• 5+ years’ experience in data architecture
• Proven experience in data (information) management and governance and GDPR compliance
• Good understanding in data and information technologies and methods.
• Certifications in architecture frameworks e.g., BCS, Gartner, TOGAF
• Must have extensive knowledge in Data and information technologies (IT Capabilities) & platforms e.g. SQL (RDB), Snaplogic (iPaaS), Ataccama (MDM/DQM), Alteryx / PowerBI (Data Science/Analytics/Reporting) etc.
