Head of Business Applications (Salesforce)

My client a well-established travel agency is looking for a Head of Business Applications to help transform their IT Department. Our client is currently at the beginning of a digital Transformation and are investing 10 million into the business to drive their digital footprint. The chosen candidate will be responsible doer all the Tech leadership for all business applications within the business. Business applications to be organised into groupings that best support the business strategy, with each area having the required technical knowledge, experience and capability to design, deliver, operate and support their business applications.

Head of Business Applications (Salesforce)

The chosen candidate will ideally have be experienced with Digital Channel Delivery, engineering, website and mobile application delivery. He or she will be reporting to the CTO and will be playing a pivotal role within the leadership team. He or she will be responsible for the effective delivery and operation of the business applications will enable the business to realise its strategic goals. The business applications include direct client facing applications, internal applications for all areas of sales and support, applications used by product partners, as well as corporate applications for companywide functional areas.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

  • In depth Understanding of Sales and Service Application Technology (Salesforce) Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
  • Integration Platform knowledge (Ideally Azure)
  • Good Digital Channel Delivery
  • In depth understanding of engineering teams websites, and Mobile applications
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Integrations End To End
  • Solid Knowledge of Software engineering

Digital workplace applications

  • All supporting business function applications including HR, Finance and Legal.

6 month contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft solutions and govern the solutions as they are being deployed into the organisation.
  • Ensure that the solution design meet the technology strategy of the business

  • Mentmore are currently recruiting for an ETL Developer for our client, a leading retailer, Who are undertaking a large scale project (creation of a data platform and data warehouse). They are looking to bring on board an experienced ETL Developer with solid hands on Azure Data Factory, ETL and T-SQL experience.

3 Month contract

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Data warehouse design and implementation (cloud and on premise).
    • Microsoft Azure and on-premise hosting infrastructure
    • Support of the existing data platform and a creation of a new data platform.
    • T-SQL (Stored procedures, User Defined Functions, Views, Derived Tables, Indexing, etc.).
    • Database Design, Development and Deployment.
    • BI requirements gathering
    • Azure SQL DW, Azure Data Factory
    • Querying various different business systems such as CRM (Microsoft Dynamics), CMS (Microsoft SharePoint), Salesforce etc.

    Required skills:

    • Proven understanding of data platform
    • Must have excellent experience working with T-SQL, Azure SQL DW, Azure Data Factory
    • SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI and Tableau experience

The Senior Information Security Analyst will work with business and technology departments and teams to ensure security policy compliance and regulatory security concernsare met.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation and on-going support of IT Security policies, standards and procedures including EIP/DLP.
  • Support all corporate information security tools and initiatives, including DLP, source code management, intellectual property management, personal/financial licensing tool management and legal e-discovery tools.
  • Support security projects and work with business owners, clients and system managers.
  • Review the networking infrastructure and systems to ensure security best practices and standards are implemented and followed.
  • Support Risk Management Office on internal audit, Legal, Human Resources and Physical Security to address audit, risk and compliance concerns.
  • Assist in security initiatives to meet regulatory requirements such as SOX and penetration audits.
  • Monitor information security compliance using various tools and technology including identity and access management.
  • Own and drive incident management bridge calls and chats with production management, application development, infrastructure teams, and senior leadership with the purpose of remediating customer impacting incidents quickly.
  • Establishing strong command and control of an Incident, establishing clear accountability and methodical evaluation of complex issue scenarios.
  • Competent and reliable adherence to critical process and procedure, and appropriate escalations in support of production incidents.
  • Applying technical and environmental knowledge and experience to develop and drive appropriate work streams, forming paths to resolution.
  • Distribution of clear and concise communications, summarizing incidents and the business/customer experience to a wide group of technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ensure incident data is accurately captured and documented in the incident recording tools.
  • Priming appropriate materials and follow ups to hand-off to the Root Cause Analysis phase in the Problem Management process.

 

Key Skills required:

  • IT operations or audit background
  • Cisco, Microsoft Windows, Oracle databases (EBS)and Unix enterprise networking
  • 0-3 years or more of Security related experience or equivalent training
  • Experienced in identifying and preventing security breaches

Key responsibilities:

  • Primary technical lead for Microsoft Azure and on-premise hosting infrastructure.
  • Responsible for the security best practices on the Azure/Windows 10/Office 365 infrastructure to comply with industry standard frameworks and policies.
  • Maximise integrity and functionality of IT infrastructure through appropriate strategic planning, design, operation, maintenance and monitoring hardware, software and network systems.
  • Ensure IT systems are fully documented to audit changes and updates and to support business change and operations.
  • Plans, organizes and manages technical support technologies within the hosting tower.
  • Support and acts as back up for other technology towers covered by other members of the team (EUC, Security, Networks, etc.)
