Technical Lead – End User Computing

Mentmore are currently recruiting for a Technical Lead – End User Computing for our client, a leading organisation, who are undertaking a large-scale project. They are looking to bring on board an experienced Technical Lead – End User Computing with extensive experience on Microsoft Intune, SCCM, autopilot and Microsoft Azure.

Role: Designing and delivering operating system and computer application compliance for the company userbase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary technical lead for System Center Configuration Manager proactive management and support.
  • Responsible for the security best practices on the Azure/Windows 10/Office 365 infrastructure to comply with industry standard frameworks and policies.
  • Responsible for SQL 2016 Database administration and support
  • Delivers technical solutions in line with other projects and working with Service Desk team for systems that require specialist internal support resources.
  • Manages technical support for relevant technologies within the Hosting Tower.
  • Supports and acts as back up for other technology towers covered by other members of the team (Azure, Security, Networks, etc)
  • Takes accountability and resolves any issues preventing the achievement of timely, quality, and cost-effective results
  • Provide specialist support to company Partners and Directors to assist in problem resolution.
  • Manage projects as required to install new IT equipment and software
  • Provide technical expertise in resolving problems and implementing changes to the IT infrastructure

Required skills:

  • Advanced functional knowledge of operating systems, applications, utilities
  • Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager – (MDM & PC Management)
  • Proven experience of PC, server and network administration and support.
  • High-level responsibility for security and data protection within a multi-site network
  • Exposure to an international environment is desirable

They are looking to bring on board an experienced Technical Lead – Azure with extensive experience on Microsoft Azure, Hosting infrastructure and Office 365.

Role: Primary Technology lead focused on delivery of hosting solutions. The role will fulfil project related work and level 3 problem resolution in conjunction with the service desk team.

Note: Must have Azure, Office365 (email, SharePoint, MS Office) and Dynamics experiences

Role: Greenfield project – Both Technical & Policy, Data driven

Responsibilities:

  • Produce and refine the organisation IT Security Architecture & roadmap
  • Responsible to set-up the GDPR frameworks
  • Data Quality, Data Loss prevention
  • Data Protection & Data Storage Devices
  • SAP and various other business applications
  • Azure, Active Directory and SAP
  • Implementing SIEM frameworks
  • You will be responsible for IT Security Architecture of the Azure environment
  • You will be responsible to create the security framework for all of their internal staff.

The Digital Solution Architect is a key role forming a critical bridge between the business Digital team and the IT team ensuring the on-going effectiveness, consistency and integrity of solutions being delivered.

 

The project will be based on an Insurtech policy administration system, coupled to a custom low code front end, and integrate to the existing back off systems for finance and related services.

 

The individual will have key contribution to the design and delivery of Digital Project, and similar responsibilities as assigned on non Digital Portfolio projects & programmes as capacity allows.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Ensure the integrity of project solution in alignment to the agreed IT Strategy, Data Strategy and Process Governance

Required experience

  • Azure DevOps (VSTS) – designing and implementing release processes for development teams
  • AppInsights and Azure Monitor – experience troubleshooting applications (PaaS, SaaS, etc) using AppInsights and Log Analytics. Familiarity with writing queries using Kusto query to determine root cause of outages/problems
  • Azure Functions/PaaS/SaaS – familiarity (or experience with) building functions/apps with native Azure technologies
  • Azure Container (including Kubernetes service) – experience in building container services to host and manage new or Legacy systems

The Lead Solution Architect will be leading the efforts for the businesses most important technology change piece. The Lead Architect will be responsible for leading the Solution Architecture team for Supply Chain as well as taking full accountability for Solution Design across warehousing, transportation management, customs brokerage and trade financing.

Ideally the Lead Architect will have worked as a Solution Architect for 10+ years who has moved into a Principal or Lead Architect role, managing a team with full accountability for Supply Chain solution design.
