Mentmore is currently recruiting for a Network Engineer for our client, a leading retailer who are undertaking a digital transformation. They are looking to bring on board an experienced Network Engineer with extensive experience of network technologies and architecture such as TCP/IP and hands on experience with Cisco Meraki network products and components.

 

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining network infrastructure across the globe.
• Support on design and maintenance of all Networking components (routing, switching, firewalls, wireless)
• Hands on work with Cisco Meraki network products and components
• Cisco CCNA Enterprise Infrastructure or similar
• Working with Cisco AnyConnect
• Expert / SME support on complex network issues and incidents
• Support in the rollout of the new Network strategy and design.
• Work closely with Information Security, a Managed Network Support Provider and wider IT to keep their systems running stable and secure.
• WCNA (Wireshark)
• Supporting the development and adoption of new network solutions
• Support and Troubleshooting of Enterprise VPN solutions.

 

Required skills:

• 3+ years working as a NOC, Network Engineering or Network Support Roles
• Excellent working knowledge of Wan Technologies, Switching and Wireless.
• Hands on Experience with Cisco Meraki network products and components.
• Good understanding of ITIL concepts and change management.
• Significant experience with TCP/IP stack.
• Cisco CCNA Enterprise Infrastructure or equivalent
• PRTG or Equivalent Certified
